Switchback Turning Signal Color Temp.

I recently purchased a set of LED Switchback 5157 Bulbs from ijdmtoy.com. I was looking for something that is bright white with perhaps a slight tint of blue to match my existing bulbs. Right now I am running Nokya 7000k halogen bulbs with the matching Fog Lights. These are the nicest looking bulbs I could find without going HID. Now my bulbs say 7000k but they are more like 6000k, way more white than blue. Now I ordered these switchbacks hoping they would match because they were supposed to be bright white (5000k - 6000k) but when I plugged them in they are more like 8000k, almost a purplish tinge, definitely not what Im looking for. Anyone out there had better luck with a different brand that gives more of a pure white, Im also considering just buying cheap versions off ebay for 5 bucks in stead of the 35 I paid and just hope for the best.

Those both look nice. I just ordered a full 55w 8000k HID set, fogs and headlights, from DDM Tuning and I also grabbed a set of their Switchbacks so Ill hook them all up and see how they match.

You have to get a capacitor. It plugs in between the positive and negative leads, prevents rapid flash. Look on eBay, they are a couple bucks.

also you could get the LED flasher relay that way no wire splicing is needed. you will just lose the feature of knowing when you have a bulb out.

I have a question with these switch backs. i have led mirror lights and recon LED bulbs in my cab lights and they are more yellow than orange or amber and i was looking to buy a set of the LED turn signals to match them from V-LED, are your guys more yellow than orange????

Pm me. So you have amber led bulbs in your cab? And when you say led turn signals, what do you mean? Tail lights? Side mirror with turns?

Lol sorry. I have led bulbs in my cab lights, I also have recon mirror turn signals which have led's in them and the led's look yellow compared to my regular bulbs in my front turn signals. All my led's are from recon and didn't know if they were more yellow because of recon or are all amber led's more yellow. I was gonna buy the best bulbs from vled.com and wanted them to match the color of my recons. Sorry I know it's hard to explain. I will see if I can get pics of the color difference.
