a little grill moding today

did a some plasti dipping on the chrome grill to see what it would look like painted didnt turn out to bad take a look

That's cool, post more! I was just thinking of doing the same thing! I was going to do a vinyl wrap on everything chrome and just get a black grill, but the Plasti-Dip idea came up...

I think it'd look better body color on the outer shell and plasti-dipped in the center. But that's just me

It look cool. Do you think I could do all my shocks? I want to do them in red like the truck. The factory white is rusting over.

yes try the vinal wrap my buddy just did his rims. came out very good. that stuff is cool they have so many color choices ect. I powder coated my bumpers black but I could of just wraped them in a carbom fiber flat black wrap and been alot cheaper,lol

plasti dip is an addiction once you try and it and get a handle on how to do it right its pretty easy. you can see how things will look temporarily or permanently this stuff will always peel right off i did my wife's chrome emblems on her Nissan and they have held up for the past 2 years, this stuff is very durable i have used my pressure washer on it and it stays on no problem. they are coming out with more and more colors all the time. i did use the glossifier on this grill but it didn't turn out as glossy as i would have liked but the beauty of it is i can peel it off and start over any time i want!
