Built my own sub box! Also shined up the turd

Welll i got bored and didnt wanna spend $100+ on a sub box, so I went ahead and built my own. Ive never built a sub box but I gotta say it turned out pretty dang good!! I havent got the sub or amp for it yet, but it will be getting a JL Audio 13TW5 sub along with a JL HD750/1 amp. Yes I know the amp is a tad much for the subs RMS rating but I think it should be ok. I dont do alot of hard "bumping". Should sound pretty good though Im hoping!
Well onto the pictures. I didnt take step by step pictures of how I built the box but I will post the pictures I did take. I used 3/4" MDF, I cant remember the exact specs but it was around 34" long x 16" high x 6" wide on bottom and 3.5" on top? Box fits perfect! Will post more pictures when I wire it up and get the sub and amp in.





Also shinned up the truck today. Used a product called Super VRT by Adams Polish...its for vinyl, rubber and trim. Ive tried Mothers back to black and many other products to keep the black plastic looking black and nothing ever works as good as this stuff. Highly recommend it!

I have 2 JL Audio 10W0v3 subs in my truck and I love them. They work really well in small enclosures, as they are in a box that looks exactly like yours.

Sorry I havent replied guys! Been pretty busy lately but thanks for the compliments! I STILL haven't bought the sub and amp for this setup yet. Had some other stuff come up and haven't had the extra thousand bucks laying around for the sub and amp lol it'll come soon though! As for the wheeler, thanks! I love it and yeah sparks is the only way to go! I've thought about selling it, never ride much anymore like I used to.

Thanks! Some guys hate the stance, some love the look of it. I still can't decide lol some days I love the stance and look. Then other days I think, dang those tires are too wide. But it's growing on me...I def. don't think I could ever go smaller on the width now though
