N-fab install

Went to install today but ran into issues, wondering if anyone else had same problem(s)?

When trying to line up the brackets on steps with holes in pinch weld the front of the bar touches the bottom of cab right behind front wheel


And one of the three brackets can't sit flush behind because of this:


The instructions say the short 45* bend goes at front, but that wouldn't affect either issue anyways.

Any ideas?

Just found this,
There seems to be two part numbers for these steps-cab only

"N-Fab Steps Ford F250/350 Crew Cab 99-10 CAB ONLY, PN F9984CC"
&
"N-Fab Steps Ford F250/350 Quad Cab 99-10 CAB ONLY, PN F9973QC"

The ones I got are the F9973QC...

Same issue here, mine actually said 08-10 excursion, so I don't know which ones I got. I had to widen the mounting holes and they sit at a slight angle so the font touch the cab.

The ones I got are the F9973QC...

Don't you have a CC? The pn you listed is for an EC isnt it?

I dont know, I thought Quad cab was a dodge thing...but isnt a quad the same as a crew- both 4 doors?

I had to wholler out a couple holes on my truck to get them to line up better. But after that.....

Thats sucks for me! I got them from PTP, not worth to return for the right ones since im in Canada. I try and sell them locally I guess....lame.

That definitely does suck. Guess that's the price we pay for trying to save some Canuck bucks and not buying locally.
