OEM Bed Extender

Was just wondering if anyone has the factory bed extender in their truck and has a spray in bed liner. I've been pricing a bed extender out and on a few sites, it said that they weren't compatible with a spray in bed liner. Other sites didn't mention this in their description. Was just wondering if Line X may have sprayed over some mounting holes in the bed. Local dealership parts department is useless and didn't know.

If you wouldn't mind posting up some pictures, that would be appreciated. Mainly want to see how it attaches to the side of the bed but any/all pictures would be great. I just want to see how it mounts and if Line X sprayed over any mounting holes since I didn't have a bed extender at the time I got it done.

No worries. Got the part number from my local dealership and when I compared it to the part number on Tasca Parts, it didn't say anything. It was the F150 bed extender part number that said it wasn't compatible with Line X.

Mine has the bed extender, and a spray in bedliner. But they were both in it when I bought the truck used. It does make it a little hard folding back out fo the way, but nothing bad. There is a extra hole in the tail gate for a pin if you have the bed extender on the tailgate.

I have the factory bed extender and had the spray in LineX installed. Bed extender came with the truck. They just took it all out to spray it. I know that I installed the Harley Davidson F150 extender in my Lightning, but I had to drill out all the holes for it. I got it to work with a bed rug installed. Only problems I have with the bed extenders is I have a Low Pro bed cover. The Lightning I have to remove the extender to flip it over. Since the F250 comes apart in the center I am able to tilt it to miss the rails on the bed cover.

Finally got my bed extender after ordering it from Tasca parts. They didn't have it in stock so naturally, had to wait awhile for it. Just wondering if there's some sort of plug I'm missing on the top of the bed extender. Seems like there's three vertical holes. The bottom one is for the locking/unlocking mechanism, the middle is for the bolt that attaches the bed extender to the box, and the third has nothing in it.
