Mile marker hydraulic

Has anyone installed a mile marker hydraulic on thei 08 f 250 especially mounted in the front bumper. I like the hydraulic part of mile marker and has worked well on my jeep. Has anyone installed one ?

Installed into a stock bumper? Doesnt the truck have to be running to use a hydro winch vs just having battery power?

truck does have to be running but a winch will suck the life out of a battery quick. It is not possible to mount in the stock bumper. I needed to look at a little more closely and realized that the cooler is to low and in the way. there is not a good way to reinforce either. I am going to look at adding some sort of small winch mount bumper type thing. I don't want a full replacement bumper just a winch mount.

have you thought about putting a front reciever on the truck and mounting a winch when you need it that way?

Tough Country has a grille guard that is winch ready. I am sure others do too.
