Sensor for Automatic Lights
Anyone know where the sensor is for the automatic headlight switch? Mine stay on now no matter what when turned to the automatic setting. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the HID's I had installed that I've been have problems with.

hey not sure if your still having this problem but it is most likley your relay harness on your hids taking a crap, mine are doing this too and i think its because the relay doesnt close when the headlight switch in the truck tells it too therfor still sending power to the lights even when its not supposed to be since its getting the 12v to power the hids from the batterys, thats my problem at least, let me know if thats what it was! hope that helped some.

Duffie,
Thanks for the reply. I have a feeling that it is the relay. I've had nothing but problems with the HID's since I had them installed (flickering, loosing power all together). I wish I would have bought a quality kit and installed them myself. Now my fogs and right headlight are fogging up. |

Yeah, If you have anything near it, it can potentially block or cover it and cause it to activate.

Mines been doing the same thing except I don't have HID's. I'm thinking maybe sensor. I'll take it in on warranty eventually.
