Painted Mirrors, but left Slide Bars Black.

I finally got my mirrors painted, but went a different route than everyone else. I didn't paint the entire mirror. I left the two bars that they slide and fold on black. With the truck being gray it's not to noticeable. Came out pretty good for $100.

Looks great, I think I still like just the cap colormatched though, or what would be the cap for those with one piece mirrors,

looks good. I painted my whole mirror, but with my truck being white i think it would have looked bad.

I painted thr entire mirror bc I'll put the truck in a few shows and things like that catch the judges eye. Thr painted cap only looks good also, but it's a factory option and I like to be different.

With white the black may have been really noticeable. I left them black just to be safe and will allow me to fold them in if I need to.

Wow, looks good man! Id do mine like that in a heart beat!

My old painted mirrors cracked and faded ONLY on the bars, not painting them will look good in the long run

Exactly how I woud have done it. If you painted the black part, they could peel when the mirrors came in and out. Looks great.
