Stock offset is +40mm. 25.4mm to an inch, so determine how much you want them to move out and subtract it from +40. On stock height and stock tires I wouldn't go much further than +10mm offset, which would move out about 1.2".

I have 20x9" +14 offset which is 5.5" backspacing and they stick out about 1.5" past the fenders with 325/60/20's.

well the options for the addicts are

-12 offset and 4.5in backspace

18 offset and 5.71in backspace

Which of these would stick out further?

also the diesels im looking at are -24mm offset and 4.56 backspacing, they are used, what if i got the diesels and had them color matched to the truck color?

2005 and newer all have the same axle. The axle is slightly wider than the one used on 1999-2004 trucks. This is why the older trucks can run a deeper dished wheel (4.50" backspace) and the tires only stick out about an 1". Where the newer trucks a 5 backspace with a 20" x 9" wheel sticks out on the front end 2".
