Step Bars On or Off?
After I installed the 1.5" leveling spacer last night I decided to take my step bars off. I like how it looks higher. What you guy's opinions on it. Should I leave them off or put them back on? Yard was kind of wet so had to get a pic in the driveway today.

Keep off and if you get new ones get the nfab tuck away ones, they are awesome.

Like the look of them off, but my wife and other passengers like the functionality of them on. Leave them off for a month or so and see how you feel about them then. Looks good with them off though...

The whole truck looks so sleek without them and the tinted tails and windows. Good job, looks awesome

It's my weekend truck so I won't be in and out everyday. Eventually I hope to get the AMP steps. I was estimated around $1400 for them installed.

I vote you leave them off.
If you do end up leaving them off, buy or fabricate some pinch weld covers If your patient you can find a set of used amp steps for a reasonable price. I bought mine for $600 IIRC |

I took mine off the first week I bought mine. It looks so much better with them off but it is a little more of a jump to get in. AMP steps are on my list as well.

I'm 6'1" and I use my bars every time I get in and out of the truck. I'd say its function over form...

I've always had mine off and love the look. It does get to be a PITA. I am 6'4 and still have to jump in mine, but mine is a little higher. I hated my steps because they always had mud clumped on them and I would drag it in the truck with me. I vote leave them off.
