Single stack question

Can I just buy a exhaust tip and use it for a stack? or do I have to buy a stack kit?


I want one that doesnt stick over the cab and I think most stack kits do.

You can because its the same concept as a stack but will look retarded. There are several companys out there that make stacks of all lengths, for the short look that your wanting.

Why do ya'll do stacks? I would think that money could be better spent on booze/women or children. Sorry, but these are not semi's. It makes the rest of us look bad.

I did them on MY truck because i think it sounds better with them. I made my own 4" exhaust and like the sound, then i made my own 4" dual exhaust and liked the sound. But i wanted to do something else, so i made my own stack kit and installed stacks and haven't looked back. I prefer to stand out in a crowd instead of blending in.
Not all Semi's have stacks either though, our KW came from the factory without them, just a simple turn-down behind the cabI don't drink, Women is happy already, and im too young for kids
But everyone does have their own opinoin, thats what makes the world go around
