16" rims?? possible?

Will they fit on on 08? I'm just not real big into the larger rims and prefer the look of more rubber. I have he stk 18" and i'm looking to upgrade soon. So i was wondering if there 16" rims that would fit on our trucks.

I have an 08 F-350 DRW and it has 17" rims on it factory. But I doubt 16" would fit. The reason I say that is there is like 1/8' of clearance between the brake calipers and front wheels. Its possible the 350 DRW (with tow boss package) has larger front calipers , but I bet it has the same front brakes as every other super duty. Try calling one of the larger aftermarket wheel manufactures customer support/tech lines and asking them. They should know what will and won't fit , especially if they're trying to sell you some expensive sh*t.

16s won't work, and only some 17's will. It has something to do with if the inside of the wheel is tapered or not I believe.

If you have 18's and you want to 'upgrade' then why not go to 20's or something? I think by going down in size you will be downgrading.

No 16's will not fit. Has to do with the taper of the wheel and the brake caliper IIRC.

Unfortunately everyone is giving you accurate guidance; 17" wheels are the smallest that will fit over the 2008+ brake calipers. As TrippleE44 said as well, there are even some 17" wheels that will not fit.

Is there a particular wheel manufacturer that you had in mind?
