I got another question for you fenner408, once I sand off the chrome, what do I have to do to get it prepped for paint?

blow it off then wipe it down with wax/grease remover or lacquer thinner. definitely use adhesion promoter too if you want it to stick.

I painted my chrome XLT grille before I swapped to my FX4 one. The chrome comes off pretty easily with acetone and a green scrubby. Its a little messy but it's easy to do.
