How to disassemble tailgate handle and mirror caps?

All of my handles except the tailgate handle came painted. I want to have the tailgate handle and mirror caps done. It'll be cheaper if I remove them myself, but I'm not sure how to remove them. I rather ask instead of attempting and breaking something.

I would say let them do it, it only takes a few minutes. I took my truck to the body shop the other day and they took the tailgate handle off and the keypad on the driver door off to paint them, it only took him like 15 minutes.

The mirror caps are double sided tape I believe.
