i just did mine. I used rustoleum lense tint and some clear... they came out a bit dark so i may redo them.

I used VHT nightshade I like it and if you do it carefully you wont get any cracks. also put the rattle can in hot water helps in it shooting easier and I also shot it with clear. The best would be to have a shop do it with a tinted clear coat

i lightly sanded mine and used that krylon stuff thats "specially formulated to stick to plastic" mine have been done for about one and a half years now, holds up great and its easy to find/inexpensive

i used the VHT niteshade. its cheap and it looks great. i just cleaned the lenses real good, sprayed a couple of coats, and then a couple of coats of clear coat. search my thread "VHT niteshade" and i have some pics up.

Has anyone tried this with HID's
i will eventually. i have a HID conversion kit that i'm about to put in. then i want to try and color match my headlights black, and then do one light coat of niteshade . i think it would look good and still get tons of light out..

You can also take them to a paint shop and have them tint a clear coat to your desired darkness.
