6 inch lift questions

I found a brand new 6 inch lift kit someone in my areas trying to get rid of for $750, Its a tuff country kit for a f250/f350. I plow in the winter, will that affect me with the lift kit and are the front springs rated for a 350 even though they fit 250s and 350s? Also whos got some pics of lifted trucks w 6inches or around there? Thanks!!!

that seems like a pretty good price. i dont know how it would effect your plowing, seeing i've never done it or known anyone that has. but i have a six inch lift. i'll post some pics up when i get home so you can get an idea.

I would think it would effect the plowing, but you might be able to do some modifications to make it work. I know we have some members that have lifted trucks and plow. hopefully they will chime in.

the pic in my sig is 6" lift with 37's

I think 6 inches is too much, I think I can ger away with a 4 inch kit its only another 1.5 inches over my leveling kit in the front. I just wanted to see if anyone else has a lift and plows. Thanks

Haven't a clue ..If your plow mount can lower the plow to the ground after the lift why wouldn't it work?

Depending on your plow...you may be able to modify the truck side frame mount of the plow a-arm frame itself to keep the attack angle good.
