White exterior door handles

Anybody know where I can buy some oxford white exterior door handles? I have searched Ebay and cannot find them anywhere. I believe they came on FX4's and some Lariat's.

They came on the King Ranch trucks. You could always prep and paint the ones on your truck already.

Otherwise look for excursion door handles

Thanks Dave, I didn't realize that. I did a quick search on those and again only came up with black. I would paint mine, but I don't think the handles should be that expensive.

Yes and the one thing I have noticed is that if you do them yourself, if you dont do it correctly to the T, they will begin to chip around the edges. I put painted ones on my last truck but I got mine off ebay....

I have read that they don't sell the colored ones anymore. I think you can only get them in black and they are ready to paint.

There is no magic to painting them but if you don't prep well they'll chip. The handles get a lot of use so you'd want to take a little extra time to prep them.

I got mine from ebay and matched them to the body of mine and I havent had any problems with chipping or anything like that.

Did you use a small air brush and paint them yourself? Did you put clear on them?

they do not sale the painted door handles, i had to buy a black door handle and get it painted white when my truck got broke into

Nope, I gave them a light sanding and primed them with this:
Spray Max Epoxy Primer aerosol

Then I used base and clear out of a rattle can from these guys:
Automotivetouchup.com Touch Up Paint, Aerosol Spray Paint and Paint Touch Up Accessories

Those guys are local to me so that's why I used them, but I would imagine any paint supply place would be able to mix your factory color into a aerosol can. Just make sure you don't use duplicolor or the other cheapy paints. They don't match perfectly.

I would paint them with a catalyzed urethane paint. Lacquer touch up paint won't hold up as well on high traffic areas like door handles.

Some good tips on this thread. Do they sell smoother black handles which look better painted? I'm going to buy some off of Ebay so I can take my time painting them. They all appear to look like the have a slight texture like my stock handles.
