08's w/ stock 17" pictures please?!
I love my setup right now on the truck, but the good time of year is coming... WINTER. I want to be ahead of it and ready so I am looking now. I don't really have the money to try and buy all new rims just for looks so I plan on making use of the ungly god awful stocker 17's chromie cover ones I got with the truck. Either pull the chrome cover off, or just make it all black so it doesnt look so bad. Anyway I only need them for winter time to keep the summer rims clean and nice. I like running a better tire for plowing and winter conditions anyway. Also I do some towing when we snowmobile which is a 4 hr trip into some narly conditions sometimes so I like not putting miles on my summer stuff. Anyway! Please post me up some pictures of an 08 winter setup or at least the 17's stock they have with better bigger tires. I figure some BF Goodrich's (my favorite) T/A's. 315-70-17 (34.4x11) I believe> hope it fits on that little rim. Otherwise suggestions are open!

i have a set of 315-70-17 bfg's in my garage and im trying to find someone else who has put them on these rims too. for what its worth, at the fire dep. we have a 2008 gmc 3500 dually with the same size tires on the stock 17x7 rims. doesnt look horrible but they wear in the center more. ill try and stop by and email you pictures tomorrow. also trying to figure out if they even fit under my truck at stock height

Im running a set of Mud Claw's 285-70-17's till this spring when I do my lift and tires and everything. For a rather cheap tire they are really nice, and give a more aggressive look to the truck. Plus its a mud terrain so the traction is good. Here is a pic of them from the other day hauling some equipment, ill try and put a closer pic up here this weekend..
