Black 6.4 Headlights

I just picked up an 08 f250 today and i'm wondering what would be the best way to black out the headlights. Or what kind of replacement headlights could I buy?

Bake them and pull them apart and paint the chrome bezel

Preheat the oven to 250 degrees, put the headliht in and shut the oven off and let them sit in there for 10 minutes. That way you know it wont over heat them. Then pry on the lense. You will have to repeat a couple times since the adhesive will cool down fast.

To reseal I use black RTV and a bead of silicone

Good question I was gonna ask that. I figured the Harley lights but WOW that is NOT a low price. So perhaps i'll end up painting mine. Doesn't sound fun though

Yea it's unfortunate. I wonder if you got a bad set or I just got lucky.
