6.4 Grills and Cab Light Help

Picking up my 6.4 08 (JOB 2 truck) on thursday. I am just seeing now it doesn't have cab lights!!! I personally LOVE them and don't think a truck is right without them but life goes on. I went through some 6.4 picture galleries and a lot of you don't have them and well, be honest it looks awsome over the ones with cab lights. I plan to leave it that way but for my knowledge is there anyone who does a kit or has installed them?

Also I noticed some people having a real nice replacemtn grill. Not the RBP one but similar style. Kept the outer edge of the factory grill and then just horizontal lines all over, not just inserts. Just lemme know I guess i'll try to PM the members I saw these with.

i had the same issue when i got my truck. i didnt realize until later that it didnt have cab lights. recon sells a set for about a hundred bucks. but i picked up the exact same set on ebay for about 70. me and one of my friends installed them. its really not too bad, its just really time consuming. you just need to be really careful when you start making the holes for it. if you want some more detailed instructions, just shoot me a pm. but overall, it was definitely worth it. i love having them on there.

and i think the grill that you are thinking of might be the t-rex grill. its a replacement billet grill, but leaves the surround. i think it runs for around 400 or so, but just google it and you'll be able to find it. hope this helps!

Im pretty sure ford stopped putting cab lights on anything from the factory except 350's and special order trucks to try and save a $$$ here and there. If you want to put them on you can get the stock ford ones on ebay for pretty cheap. I would would let someone install them though so that you have a warranty if they ever start to leak (a new headliner can be a little pricey).
