New grille

I wanted an rbp but can't justify what they cost, so I went with a cheapo eBay black powdercoated one. So for $145 shipped it looks and fits great, even came with the bumper grille insert. I also colormatched my front bumper. I'm wanting to add something to the grille like an emblem of some sorts, any suggestions?

I like it, like you said the price of the rbp is rediculous and fit and finish is terrible.

Did you get the entire grill including the surround, or just the insert? I have a chrome
FX4 grill and I am wanting to get a black one. I am trying to find the least expensive way of doing the swap.

I don't mean to sound like a hater, but i'm not a big fan of it. I really like the stock grills/front ends on our trucks, BUT on a truck like yours where you are trying to black in out, I must say it doesn't look too bad, nice job!

thanks man! i'm just not really sure what i'm going to do yet. i've seen a couple of trucks with somewhat of the same set up w/ the black grill and i really liked it. so i'm debating between just getting mine painted or trying to find a new one.

Well getting the stock one painted would be cheaper and something I haven't seen yet, so maybe try that? And if if doesn't go well then just order the new one!

Go figure Canteenboy was on this thread. How many times I gotta tell you? You crazy Canteenboy!
