Harley/Recon Lights Installed (Pics)

I just did the install today. Harley headlights and Recon mirror, tail lights, and 3rd brake lights. I just did before and after pics, since there's not much to the installation to document. The only recommendations I have if you do this is to have 7mm and 8mm sockets and an extension and also to be VERY careful with the clips the headlights bolts screw into. These clips are made out of the softest metal ever. I broke two and stripped another one out trying to get my new headlights on. Take it very slow putting the bolts back in and if you feel any resistance whatsoever, back it out and try again. Other than that, the install was effortless. Anyway, on to the pics!

Before:

And After:

Hope you like them!

Looks very nice. Where did you end up getting your headlights from?

Got the headlights from Tascaparts.com. Great guys there.

I'm probably going to hang on to my 3rd brake light for the time being... just to make sure the Recon doesn't crap out on me. But, if I decide to sell, you have first dibs.

My recon mirror lights crapped out on me after about a year or so...hope you dont have the same problem. I ended up spraying my stock ones with VHT nightshades.

Yeah, not crazy about the bug shield look, but it sure does help deflect the rocks. I'm gonna keep it on for now. On my last truck, I was always getting rock pecks fixed.

Truck looks good! I'm going to have to check out Tascaparts.com! As far as the bug shield goes, I have been looking into the 3M clear adhesive covers.
