How to replace Grille?

Just got a new chrome one off of eBay and want to take the old black xl one out and pop this one in, what tools are needed?

From underneath you need to remove the bolts going from the metal brackets on both sides, to the grille. Then from the front you need to remove all those ridiculous plastic screw rivets. You will need to hold the back of the rivets, because if you don't they will just spin in place. Then you need to pull up and out a little bit REALLY hard to get the grille to pop out of the hood. It feels like you are going to break it, and it is easy to break. So be careful.

those plastic rivets are a GIANT PITA, anyway figured it out as I went and the grille is in, wishing I had a FX4 whtie grille but this is better then the black one it came with.

how hard was it to get the old grille to pull out, mine was really stuck in there with those clips!!!

I took my grille off two weeks ago and then removed the ugly brown insert. It is definately a pita. But a large screwdriver and about 20 minutes of frustration you can pop em all out.

got it in, wishing I would have bought the FX4 grille since Im gonna have to go thru the frustration all over again but the clips up top were a pita too, but its all done now so I guess it was worth it.
