I don't believe the stockers are wide enough for a 12.5 tire.

I ran 35x12.5x18 on my stock lariat rims. No pics currently, cause i only had them on for a week or so before i dropped down to a 33x12.5 due to rubbing till the new rims came in. For some reason the 35's rubbed, but the 33's didn't. Put the rims 18x9 i have now and put the 35's back on, no rubbing. Now i'm running 36x15.5x18 on my 18x9 rim and have minimum rubbing on my front control arm at full turn. I wouldn't put the 12.5 on the stock rim though, had too much rubbing.

like my post said... i ran 35x12.5x18 on my stock lariats on my 05. I know a buddy that ran the same setup with the same tire size and stock 18" rims on his 08. Anything bigger, i don't think will fit though.

are the 12.5" too wide for factory 18" ? Im leveled 2.5" in front so im not worried about rubbing just how wide of tire i can go with..
Thanks |
