overloads

have 08 F250 job 3...just noticed truck was stock with no overloads...kind of strange...this is the 4th Super Duty I have had and didn't think to look when I bought it as all others had overloads...put 3 thousand lb camper on and took for a test drive...did not notice any issues ( do have airbags ) any comments from others on whether overloads are necessary for this set up?

I have overloads on mine, but they told me that was part of the camper package. Does that matter? just asking

The F350 comes standard with overloads from what I understand. The F250 has them if the truck has the "camper package". Although the air bags will take care of helping out with the weight of the camper, I like the idea of having the overloads in place just in case you had air bag failure.

Sawedoff: you are probably right on the camper package..I just never payed attn before on my previous SD's.

Rod: that would be a concern...I don't hear much about bag failure, but that would be something to think about.

when I ordered my 350 overloads were part of the camper package, thats the whole reason I got that option.
