You can use shock mounts flipped around as axle mounts.

Hey guys, we are going to start offering these DIY Traction Bar Kits for those of you looking to build your own ladder bar/traction bar system. These are laser cut brackets with forged poly greasable rod end bushings. The kit will be supplied with the appropriate weld on axle and frame brackets, all four rod ends, and the needed nuts and bolts. You supply the tubing.

The supplied weld on rod ends will be for 2" OD .250 wall round tubing that you can pick-up at your local metal shop. You'll basically just need to measure how much tubing you'll need to make the appropriate length bars for your application. We suggest building the bars long to run at the same angle as your driveshaft. If you're looking to prevent axle wrap and have the ability to weld, but would rather not hassle with building from scratch this is the kit for you...
