New headlights

So I bought a 09 XL edition with the black style head lights with the sealed beam headlight, I picked up a set of the jewel style ones for $125 will I have a problem switching them over? I bought new light bulbs

ps how do you get the one screw on the bottom of the headlight out? I cant get a wrence in there because of my bumper

unbolt the bumper.....

ok, I wasn't sure if there was a way to get it out without removing the bumper

I have taken my headlights out without taking off the bumper several times. Just get a 1/4 inch driver socket and wratchet and a couple long extensions....no problem.

So I finally found my extended for my ratchet and got that final screw out, looked at the pigtails from the sealed beam and it was for a sealed beam not just a bulb, well stupid me I put everything back together go buy 2 pigtails and then as I pull it apart again find out that the sealed beam pigtail connects to the pigtail i just bought, so I opened one of them and now have to keep it, incase anyone needs it, but i popped in my new bulbs into the pigtail, and the little marker that lights up the orange marker in the new headlights is a big sob, it wont fit so i had to cut some of the plastic to allow it to fit, after you get the bulbs back in and screw 4 screws in your all good. Pretty simple but just hard enough to make you wish you had bought a XLT to begin with lol. Next to come is the grill and bumper. Oh and ps I still have the old headlights if anyone wants to buy em

What year and model did those lights come off of? What kind of grille guard are you looking at upgrading to?

I bought them off a guy on craigslist, he said he got them at a dealer because he was gonna convert his 01 to a 08+ but he couldn't find a hood for it and he didn't feel like paying dealer prices on a hood so he sold the truck. I want to get a fx4 grille, but I am also thinking of painting my stock bumpers white like the 05-07 sport models with body colored bumpers
