1999-2007 amp steps on a 2008?

I've got a buddy that has a set of amp steps for his old 2004 crewcab F250. I was curious if there is anyway that they could be put on my 2008 crewcab F250. Thanks in advance.

The mounting will be the same but the wiring will be different I think. The install requires you to tap into one wire for each of the doors so that the steps can get a signal when the door is opened. The wiring harness in the 08 is probably different than the previous years.

what if i could get ahold of a set of 08 amp steps...would the shipping kill a trade?
