i have an 08 6.4 with the factory 20" wheels that it came with. tires need to be replaced and was looking to swap the stock rubbers with some toyo open country mt's. question is...without altering the suspension can i fit bigger size tires on the stock wheel? if so whats the max? thanks in advance...

Alot of people including me have run 35/12.50's on a stock height truck. Some have trimmed or zip tied back the plastic inner fender liner. I think 35's really set these trucks off and makes them look pretty tuff without putting a big lift w/tires. Some people may tell you that the 35/12.50 tires are too wide and not recommended for our 8" wide factory wheels, but they will work just fine. Can't say much for the toyo tires, but everyone seems to like them. I'm running the Pro Comp Xtreme MT's and they've been pretty good. Hope this helps.

Love the Toyo MT's.. Just put a 2.5" leveling kit in, clears them with lots of room to play. I'm sure you could fit them without the leveling kit.

What size are those Toyo MT's? And what kind of leveling kit did you get? Thanks

thanks for all the info guys...was doubting that i could go any bigger on the tires without lifting the truck but i'd be super stoked with 35's!

Doing my research on here I have seen a couple of guys that were brave enough to try 37x13.50x20 with some wheel-well plastic trimming and a 2.5" leveling kit they claim only a little bit of rubbing when turned right at full lock... I just ordered some Toyo OC M/T's but I went with the 35x12.50's I was on the fence about it and my tire guy talked me out of the 37's... After seeing the above photo I think I made the right decission.
