Tire help
I'm looking for tires. I want to run a 35x12.5R20. Obviously I need an E rating tire. I'm going to put them on the stock Lariat wheels. I'm also going to do a leveling kit at the same time for clearance.
Will these tires fit with a leveling kit of 2" or 2.5"? I am probably going to go with the Mickey Thomson Baja ATZ's. They are one of the few E rating tires in this size. I need some opinions on this. Right now I'm running BFG All Terrains in 285/65R20. |

for such a minor increase in tire size you shouldnt need to raise your truck. ive known plenty of ppl with the 6.4 running 35" with no lift and no problem. as long as you stay in the 12.5 bracket and dont go any higher for width you will be fine.

you don't need to level. i ran 35x12.5 on the 20s with no issues.
EDIT: every tire place told me i was going to need to lift it. just gave it a try for sh!ts. again, no issues. |

I actually checked the specs on the tires on there now. Like I said they're BFG All Terrains in 285/65R20. They're just shy of 35" tall. The Mickey Thompsons are actually .3" shorter then the ones on the truck now. Looks like I may just be buying the same tires again. I like the BFG's better, I was just looking for a bigger tire, but it may not be worth it. I'm still gonna put a leveling kit in.
