FENDER FLARES

I want to do some fender flares, prolly at least 2 and 1/2 inch wide, just the bolt on kind, could people post up some pics, what kind are the best and how much did you pay for them, and were can i get a good deal on them at, and how much should i expect to pay to have someone to paint them, or could i paint them myself..

Bushwacker pocket style looks the best 450$. Haven't put mine on yet because of the paint cost. 250$ Seems kind of high.

Question for people who do have them. Has anyone had any rubbing issues on the paint who has them installed?

i can get those flares for around 350 on ebay, and i was thinking about paintin them myself but it would be hard to match my two tone gray at the bottom i think, gonna call some local body shops and get some prices this week, i wouldnt think it would cost 250 bucks because they already come prepped for paint... maybe 250 installed but just for paint i thought it would be cheaper.

Paid $355 out the door for the actual flares and $300 to have them painted to match.

Yup macco will paint a car cheaper than they will do the flares go figure

I have the Bushwacker pocket flairs, they cost me $200 to paint at the mercedes dealer. They fit perfectly using all existing holes and do not restrict the fenderwell clearance or rub with my 37's

THey will rub where they come into contact with the fenders. and yes they will scratch the paint.. well the flares wont, but the debris that gets stuck between the rubber seal on the flares and the paint will..

Bushwacker O.E flares about 300.00 and cost 200.00 to paint to match the silver trim on my truck.
