37" tires what lift???
i think i am wanting to slap a set of 37" tires on the stock 20's and have been reading some threads about this. what would be better a 2.5 level kit or a 4" susp. kit i dont want it to look like the tires are jammed in the wells. what kind of rubbing can i expect and what are the most preferred lifts you know good quailty and good price.
thanks, Chris |

i did a 4.5" icon. I put 37x12.50x20's BFG KM2 M/T's and there is slight rubbing. These are on stock KR 20's Watch your ABS lines also. I ripped one out on aciddent.
My picture is to big to upload.. if you want a picture shoot me an email. Ian.d.gilmore@gmail.com |

I'd recommend a 4.5" lift as well

8" BDS lift and I can still rub the inner fender liners at full lock when backing in my drive.

8" lift and they still rub the wells i would not expect that some threads i looked at guys have 2.5" lift w/ 37's and they dont rub the wells just the arms.

Its all in the wheel width and backspacing.. I have 37 13.50 pro comp extreme ats with 20x10s and it did not rub the arms at all but did the well and bumper brackets. I just ordered a 8" kit today because i cant stand the rubbing. I would go with a 4" rancho and 12.50 to keep it cheap because you will prolly want to go bigger and put on aftermarket wheels eventually. hope this helps

yea you are more than likely right got to go bigger after while though i cant go to big i do use it for work. 4" w/ 37's sounds good right now who's running this set up please post some pics.

Mine don't rub the fender wells just the arms... i have 12.50's tho... some guys are running 13, 14 and 15.50's depending on rims..
I personally would like the look of 13 or 14.50's more on my truck. I dunno how wide you can go on stock rims, also don't know if a 4-link system would give you any more space on the arms. I do know that I really like my Icon system. It isn't the for link... YET! |
