hids dont come on????

Hi, I bought hids on ebay and installed them, they don't turn on so now what do I do? If anyone can help me out that would be great. thanks

Are you giving them a second to "warm" up? The aren't instant bright like incandescents.

Yeah I did.....I left the switch on for a while but nothing happened. Maybe I need a Relay

i think that you might need some sorta relay but i thought they would tell you if that was needed, you sure you got the positive and negative right, sorry i have to ask

Granted I only drive a 6.0 but there is a relay and harness with mine. They are fully plug and play just with extra cabling and a relay box. Maybe the 6.4's are different.

No dude im pretty sure your right and there should have been one with your kit, i think they need it to run the balast... no matter what it is car truck van whatever...

If you want I can go uncoil all the cable and take pics of my kit. It should be close since I believe the 08's run the same bulbs as the 6L's and the focus etc.

They never said I needed it, I shoulda just gone to stealth and got em, maybe I can just buy a relay....
