LED light list

I think it is time we make a list of LED light replacements for our trucks and where to get them. I just starting this thread but will soon start compiling a list of application and sources once I start changing mine over.

It would be awesome if somewhere like the retro-solutions would just make up a kit encompassing all lights on vehicle they carry, but for now I will start buying as I go and posting.

Feel free to post what you have now and I will edit this post and maybe we can get it into a sticky eventually once we have a database.

Just Google Sylvania auto bulb guide and it will give you every bulb for your truck

I have 08 too, but the bulb guide doesn't list all as I checked before starting thread. Also not all LEDs or companies are equal.

I've changed almost all of my interior and exterior lights to LEDs from Retro-Solutions.

I like all of the rear lights stop/tail/turn, CHMSL, back-up, and cargo lights but when it came to the roof lights, they weren't bright enough.

So I left the incandescent bulbs in there and also the front parking lights because I wanted the orange hue of the incandescent bulbs to reflect in the housing... The LEDs were clear and had no hue.

I like the interior entry lights, but using LEDs for the map lights didn't work well because of the way the housing is... It reflects the light from behind, directing it down... But the LED can't using that reflector and therefore doesn't focus light down.

I'm sure there have been improvements in LEDs in the 2 years since I installed mine, so there are probably newer, brighter options out there...

I'm eyeing a new LED roof light right now...

I've also added amber LED marker lights along my running boards as well as white LED lights for entry illumination...They are not from Retro-Solutions though.
