Question Need help finding compatibility of this navigation unit

Hi i'm a new member (hopefully i'm posting this in the right place!) I was wondering if anyone could help me find the years and models that the following navigation unit is compatible with.

Here's the part number: EL1T 18K931 AA

I tried to google it but I didn't have any luck, I would appreciate any help. Thanks!

That nav unit is for an Expedition.

If you have it in your Super Duty I suspect you have a few problems...first would be the button back lighting. That unit has green backlighting but your 2012 Super Duty has blue dash lights. Another problem with that unit in your truck is that if it is programmed at all (I have seen several of these lately that are not programmed) it will be programmed for the analog steering wheel switches of the Expedition while your truck uses the CAN bus to communicate steering wheel controls.

Programming will be problematic. I have done retro-fits for trucks where nav was not installed from the factory and it is a chore, but it can be done.

The guys at 4D Tech, Inc. | Ford Navigation and Accessories can do the programming. They are the only ones I am aware of that are able to do bench-top custom (not strictly VIN/As Built Data) programming.
