2008 Supercab Subwoofer systems

Hey everyone, I was wanting to put in a good speaker system to add some bass. I was looking at some Alpine type R due to my buddy from college having this setup. The thing is, I have no clue about what will work with what. I was looking into making/buying a box that will go under the back seat. Any ideas on amps, subs, head units, and what all wiring I would need.

Thanks in advanced.

I believe the type R will be too deep to mount under the seat. My 10" is 6 inches from mounting flange to the end of the magnets. Plus you have to account for sub excursion (in and out movement of the subs cone)

You will need a head unit (plus the installation wiring kits) or a PAC module at minimum, plus you will need an amp, amplifier wiring kit, and I recommend an efficient set of component speakers for the front and coaxials for the rear.this will set the proper staging of the sound for you.
