Has anyone used this aftermarket head unit?

I found a double din head unit on eBay http://bit.ly/16nSZPh and was wondering if anyone has ever used it or one like it? It says that the steering wheel controls are built in. I emailed the vendor, but didn't get much of a response. I googled another radio model DD620NV and it shows some type of set up but I don't understand exactly what it is saying about an anode and cathode.

I have a 2010 with 6 disk CD, Sirius, and Sync.

Thanks. Nice truck BTW.

I emailed the tech support for soundstormlab.com to ask them about their manual and the steering wheel controls. Guess we will see. I'm trying to do this without dropping a grand into a radio for a truck that I only get to drive two days a week.

I would agree with the name brand if there were exact components with the same quality.

Regardless of price point, Pioneer makes a superior product IMO.

I do not blame you one bit, luckily there is a used market and amazon to help get whole sale prices.

My concern with these "china" units are the Bluetooth capability, GPS updates/maps/signal and the internal components durability.

Not to mention the customer service they lack.

But, on the other hand they could easily meet your needs where I have a pretty high standard.

Umm honestly anymore unless your paying Focal type prices for quality... All car audio electronics are made in china, Thailand, Korea etc..... Matter of fact most the circuitry for all these are made in one of about 5 factories and sold to pioneer, ken wood, etc
