I don't know your specifics, but I'm sure if it sense you are moving, some things will be disabled (typing for instance), but if you're sitting still, it will allow it. Along the same lines, I've heard there is an app you can put on your kids' phones that will keep them from texting when the phone is moving.

I understand the purpose of warning.
What I dont know is if on a stock Ford 2008 F350 Navigation system if having to accept the warning every time you turn the key is normal?
BTW when my kid is old enough to drive they wont need roads!
