Gauge Mounting Options

I am wanting to install gauges in my truck but do not want to put them on the pillar because I do not want to loose the grab handle. I found this place on the web that makes a radio/gauge mount that goes in place of the factory radio, but the problem is that they only produce the mounting plate for the mustang. I looked up a radio mounting kit on Crutchfield's website for a 2008 Mustang and it is the same part number as the 2008 Superduty. If the 2008 Mustang and 2008 Superduty use the same aftermarket radio mounting kit, I would think that this radio/gauge mount should work also. Take a look at the link below and tell me what you think.

I'm not that familiar with the interior of the new 08, but there were some pods out there that went up above the rear view mirror, mounted to the roof panel. The one in the link looks cool though.

I mounted mine on my dash panels. Check out the thread new gauge pics. There was another guy on here that mounted them on each side of the steering column. Like d7rxr said, i too am not familiar with the interior on the 08. So open dash panels might be different.
