Great video! I've been following your posts and now I'm itching to do the same thing. I have a few questions though...

1. Did you have the audiophile package originally? I'm concerned about whether the nav unit needs to be aware of the subwoofer or if that's handled through a separate amp/crossover somewhere.

2. Do you have a link to the adapter you used to connect the cam into the nav unit? I think you said in another post it was like $35.

3. How did you pull the wiring out of the tailgate? Did you use an existing hole or did you have to drill/grommet yourself?

Again, impressive job. I'm definitely looking into doing this myself now!

Josh

joshcdsi,
Looks like were in the same city.
If you want send me a Pm and Ill send you my Ph. prob discuss a solution quicker.
anyways here are the answers.
1. Did you have the audiophile package originally? I'm concerned about whether the nav unit needs to be aware of the subwoofer or if that's handled through a separate amp/crossover somewhere.
<<<<<I already had the Audiophile system and just plugged in the Nav unit. it does not matter >>>>
2. Do you have a link to the adapter you used to connect the cam into the nav unit? I think you said in another post it was like $35.
<<<< The cam was $35 the unit was 325.00 AVElectronic.com
The person to speak with is named "SAM" there in Georgia. Tell him Sam in Tampa directed you to him if you dont mind.>>>>

3. How did you pull the wiring out of the tailgate? Did you use an existing hole or did you have to drill/grommet yourself?
<<< The tailgate already has a hole provisioned for the wire to the right of the centerline (between the center and right taillight) >>>>
