Hi Beams Gone

Everything worked fine on my truck until I installed a set of HID's. After finally having enough grief with that setup I went back to regular Halogen bulbs only now when I put the hi-beams on they turn off. I have switched bulbs and checked all my fuses in the fuse boxes. Im thinking there's an additional inline fuse for the hi-beams somewhere under the hood. I'm sure someone out there knows a lot more than I do. Thanks in advance.

Kenny

Check the wiring at the headlight to see if it shows signs of overheating. May have shorted out as a result.

Ya ok, I'll check for signs of shorting out. I'm assuming I'm looking for burned wires and a fix would be to re connect the wires to the headlight harness. I'm a noob when it comes to electrical, sorry.

You can buy new headlight bulb connectors with wiring from Ford or NAPA
