Prodigy Brake Controller on 2008?

I'm going to get a trailer tomorrow and the guy there said he has a plug and play harnesses for the Prodigy brake controller that will work on a 2008. Does anyone know if this is true?

How do I gain access to the plug?

Thanks,
Eric

Here is the install:
BTW the OEM plug is behind the coin holder right next to the upfitter switches. This was a real simple install. I pulled the coinholder, ashtray, and ashtray backing out (a flat head screwdriver can help with this). The IBC plug can then be fed down towards the ashtray and below the dash. I then mounted the P3 and connected the wires and that is history.

Not sure about the 08 but I had a prodigy on my 00 X, there was a small female plug under the dash that you plug it into. The Prodigy comes with the male end to match it (not fun to get to, unless your flexible).
PS this one is for sale

I researched where I bought mine, I could not find anything offered for the 08, you might want to call them.
Just google PPL its a RV Dealer in Texas. I thought the 08 had the intergrated brake controler ?????

Okay, I see that there is a P3 controller out there, should I go with that over the Prodigy?

Thanks,
Eric

I loved the Prodigy on my last PSD, my 2005 has the built in controller (which is why I sold it) you'll love it. If it has a plug N play adapter it world the money even if it hard to get to. It's much better than having to splice wires under your dash and makes for easy removal...

I went with the Prodigy P3 and I have a pigtail harness that will plug right into the OEM IBC plug and it has 4 wires that will be soldered to the P3 harness. No splicing into the factory harness and everything will be easy to remove.

Thanks for all the help guys.
