Does anyone know if you can buy a module to unlock the navigation while driving. Can you also play DVDs on the navigation if its unlocked. Thanks for the help in advance

Id like to know as well...about the nav use while driving. The last two Honda's that my wife drove (Odyssey and Pilot) both could be manipulated while driving.

You have to locate the parking sensor lead and ground it. This tricks the unit into thinking the vehicle is stopped. I have seen kits that install to allow dvd playback also never really dealt with that but they have been on Ebay.

I have been in the process of trying to get my Coastal Tech Lockpic to work on my 2010 F250 w/Navigation.

The first one I installed and seemed to work during the initial install. I had the vehicle in Drive & was able to view the DVD and turn on the rear camera at will.

When I came back to my truck later that night, the DVD refused to play in any gear other than Park. I was only able to turn on the rear camera.

A call to tech support had me try a few items. They noted that my Bluetooth should have been disabled during the install which mine wasn't. After a long phone call we decided to swap for a new unit.

The new one came in last week. I installed it and got the same exact results as the old unit!! WTF.

I plan on calling tech support AGAIN this morning.......NOT HAPPY!

OK - the tech talked me thru how to get into the Radio Diagnostic Menu and check/clear any DTC codes.

There were two listed. Once I cleared them the unit appeared to work as advertised. Now to get some useage out of it.

Damnit!

Success was only short lived. The problem came back after the next key on/off sequence!!

At first he wanted to send a 3rd unit - I doubted 2 bad units back to back so we brainstormed some more...

The tech said the most popular platforms are F150-F450 trucks and doesn't know why mine is so fussy. Then I mentioned I was running a tuner......he then felt pretty sure the tuner and lockpick are not playing well together.

I find it hard to believe all the F250-350's with this brand lockpick are all stock or perhaps it just doesn't like the H&S tuner.

Either way this was a failure. I'm yanking it out of the truck and sending it back for a refund.
