i'll be interested to see how the hi/low kit works in your truck. i purchased one from a different seller, and for the life of me could not get it to work right.

hey bud thanks for the order... are you afriad the color is gonna be too blue?

the bi kits work like this:
on the Xenon bulb it has another halogen bulbe connected to it with 2 wires coming out of the rear of it.... on the harness provided that connects to your stock OEM harness it also has 2 wires coming out of it (color coordinated) from their you just run some wire to both the lights and thats it... when you use your high beams in cab it turns on the hologen high beams.... its very easy to hook up

yes you need to run the red and black to the battery because it uses bat power to run the ballasts which run the HID's..... the 2 wires that come from the new harness goes to your high beam wires coming from the bulb... let me know if you need any help and i will be happy to explain it more in detail...

Personally, I have a 6000K kit on mine and love it. 8000K can be a little too blue, but they are usually OK. And i'm glad you have halogen high beams because HID high beams are pointless since it takes 10 seconds for the the bulb to heat up.

Here is a pic of a 6000K kit on my truck just to give you an idea of the "blueness"
They look more blue when you look directly at them

But they burn white with just a touch of blue

Hope this helps you out.
