Garmin Nuvi 880

Anyone read the data on this new Nav unit Garmin is coming out with...You talk to it..Tell it where you want to go and it will give you directions...Guess I'll have to replace my Nuvi 680 as soon as they hit the market...Beats having to use the touch screen to input the address you want to go to.

It can be fun getting lost..When you want to.
When I was in Gulf Shores right after Katrina and there were no road signs. All you had was a address to go help some folks out or do a rescue..Now that is the time you can really appreciate them!

I'll keep my 760.
Nothing is more frustrating than repeating commands to a computer.

The 760 was a clone with a couple extra bells...
I have the 880 on the way.. Voice recognition will be a long waited benefit....

The 880 is just another gadget also.
I think you'll find it faster and easier to give the unit GPS input manually instead of sitting in your seat waiting for the unit to process voice commands for simular sounding streets..
The bluetooth voice command would be the only benefit that I can see. I'll wait to see how well the unit understands voice commands before I spring almost a grand for it....
The last thing I would want to hear is "please repeat"..

I've got a Sync unit on order in my wife's new Lincoln. I'll wait to see how well that works first..
