Has anyone built their own sub woofer box/enclosure?

hey guys, i have a factory sub in my 09 KR, and would like a little more boom

like everyone i would like to save money for other stuff too...

has anyone attempted to build their own enclosure?

pics or a guide would be much appreciated

I have but its been a long time. Also a buddy of mine did one with fiberglass, and did a really good job. Sorry I dont have pictures of either, I built mine out of wood about ten years ago. I used a table saw, F26 glue, a router, and i forgot what all else. Like I said its been a while.

I just bought mine from supercrewsound.com very reasonable priced.

I built my old sub box, but didn't feel like going thru the trouble again.

FWIW spend the $ and just buy one. Building it is a PITA. I have a JL Audio Stealthbox and it sounds amazing. They do lots of R&D to get the perfect fit and specs for each different type of vehicle.

Heck just cut the bed and cab and do a blow through!! Lol A bit nervous when i cut my truck up but now I have two 13.5 JL W7's!!
