What is this???
Need help identifying a component under the hood - driver's side, mounted behind the power steering fluid reservoir and on top of the power distribution box over the wheel well. Has an orange plug a 2 small hoses and another electrical connection. My problem is that when I turn the ignition on this component starts making a real sick electrical grinding noise.
