Aftermarket Nav/DVD/CD/AM-FM/Sat Radio

hi everyone,

My '08 Lariat came with all the goodies except for the audiophile radio. It has the four speaker single CD w/Sirius. Two questions:

1.) what is a good aftermarket unit that would fit in the dash opening and integrate into the trucks system

2.) where does the gps antenna mount and can the existing sirius antenna be used?

Just looking for feedback.

I have a Pioneer Avic Z2 and I am using the factory Sirius antenna for an XM tuner. I had to remove the plastic outside on the cable but otherwise it works fine. No problems after several months. I also spoke to an installer who has done several installs this way.

I should also mention the Pioner XM traffic tuner is mounted where the factory Sirius module was mounted in mine.

I just got the Pioneer Avic D3 at Christmas. For the money it can't be beaten. It has an available Sirius module so I assume the factory antenna would work. It fits the double din dash perfectly with a trim kit. I mounted the GPS antenna on the dash and it works perfectly.

You can also get a PAC adapter for the steering wheel controls if you have them.

i run an eclipse avn 5500, it is a good unit, a little more technical than my avic d3 in my expedition. both units have good out put voltage and will work great for multiple amps and has good subwoffer control.
