Steering wheel radio controls

Is there anyway I can hook the controls on my steering wheel to a aftermarket one. I've got a jvc touch screen one now not sure what model though.

You have to buy a steering wheel adapter. Unfortunatly you can't just splice a wire and be done, you have to splice a few wires. The adapter is not cheap either, like 70 bucks. I decided to just say screw that and turn it up and down with the knob on the stereo

Theres a company called P.A.C they have a box interface to adapt your radio to the steering wheel controls. Think the website is called installer.com. or you could check sonic electronix or crutchfield. I looked for an interface for mine, and they make one for the sync, navigation,usb controls, and even the stock sirus to work.

P.A.C Reviews stated a potential delay between command and function and was reportedly annoying

so I went with the Axxess line Axxess ASWC Universal Steering Wheel Control Interface

verify fitment with them but it works flawlessly

I finally figured out what model one I had and it said it was wired for steering wheel control. Not sure what that meant. It was in the truck when I bought it. And I didn't get a remote wonder where I can get one

search remotes online I always have someone loosing one of ours and I never had a problem finding a replacement

might hit the jvc site and see if you can get a manual since it will have the remote model # and also explain if it is steering wheel adapter capable ( has a plug but still needs a module like I posted) or other ??
