Sync Problem-- phone button

I just got my 2009 Cableas Edition and it was ordered with Nav & Sync but i cant seem to figure out how to make the damn thing sync to my phone or if it was ordered without the phone option or something. If i press the phone button nothing happens, if i go into the phone screen on the nav i cant get into any menues or anything. is it possible the truck was ordered with sync but without phone integration?

I have the sync and the system is garbage IMO. Try going here Support Topics: SYNC Technology | Ford.com and see if it helps. Bottom line my sync is choppy at best. Worked ok with my Droid, but sucks with my Iphone.
